The Leo J. Ryan Park, named after the local Congressman, also known as Central Park, is a sprawling twenty-acre park that offers an array of activities and amenities suitable for visitors of all ages. When you arrive, you’ll be immediately captivated by the lush green spaces and scenic walking trails that span through the park’s expansive grounds. Stroll along the boardwalk and take in the scenic Foster City Lagoon views that add to the park’s charm.
Specific activities at Ryan Park include: Kiddo’s Chu Chu, which offers electric train rides for as well as the Vibe skateboard park, tennis and pickleball courts. For some aquatic activities, rent pedal boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, as well as windsurfing rentals and lessons at California Windsurfing, operating out of a boat shed at the south end of the park.
