From our Boathouse it is 10-15 minutes to the Central Lake and Ryan Park. Our permit requires that you stay in the main channel of the lagoon. The round trip between Sea Cloud Park and the E. Hillsdale Bridge takes approximately two hours.

Our licensed skippers are available daytime or after hours for a relaxing guided tour. Includes Duffy 21 or Duffy 22 Sun Cruiser. Start times can be adjusted for your convenience of group sizes from 8-12 passengers.

Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of the Foster City Lagoon in a premium Duffy Sun Cruiser electric boat. You are the captain, and we’ll provide a skipper to drive the boat, so you can totally relax. Rates include our licensed driver who is familiar with evening navigation on the Foster City Lagoon, so this is great for corporate event including late afternoon or evening events. There is plenty of convenient free parking in the Boat Park parking area.

Hear about the development of Foster City from original low lying Brewer’s Island grazing pasture to a dynamic waterfront community in the center of the San Francisco Peninsula only 11 minutes from San Francisco Airport with easy access to San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose. In the center the Leo J. Ryan Park has a large water facing Amphitheatre summer concerts on Friday nights, Food Trucks on Wednesday nights almost year round, and the legendry July 4th Fireworks display over the water.

Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your booking start time so you can check in for a safety briefing and depart on time. Rental and all passengers should complete the waivers in advance. We’ll have you sign the Rental Agreement during the safety briefing. Please remember to bring your driver’s license (passports ok too) and the credit card used for booking.

Children under the age of 13 must wear life preservers. These are available on the dock.

Our boats are easy to drive, and we’ll catch you when you come back to dock.
We’re open year round and our all weather enclosure means you don’t need to worry about some wind or a chance of rain, just close the windows and enjoy!

The Foster City Lagoon is about 4 miles long, so it is perfect for a 2 hour tour in a relaxing boat that glides along at 5 miles per hour.
